Cassie Santana is the Director of Strength and Performance at Physio Room, where she bridges the gap between physical therapy and training. Cassie works with individuals of all experience levels—from seasoned athletes to those who are just discovering their athletic potential—to help them build strength, confidence, and resilience through movement.

As a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) since 2020 and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) since 2023, Cassie combines her clinical expertise with performance-based coaching to guide athletes from injury rehabilitation to peak performance—often beyond where they were before injury.

Cassie is also a POSE Certified Running Specialist and USAW Level 1 Coach, using running mechanics, Olympic lifting, and individualized performance training to improve efficiency, power, and athletic development. She has completed extensive continuing education in speed, agility, and plyometric training. Additionally, she has completed an NSCA mentorship program focused on mentoring and inspiring women to advance in the field of strength and conditioning.

Cassie has a special interest in training runners, helping them incorporate strength work into their running plans to enhance performance, prevent injury, and stay healthy in their sport. To learn more, inquire about her Strength and Conditioning Program for Runners at Physio Room.

An avid runner herself, Cassie has completed four half marathons and is currently training for a marathon. She brings experience coaching high school cross country and track athletes, combining her passion for running and strength to inspire athletes at every level.
